Finance Manager
What does a typical day in your role at AISUS look like, and how does your work contribute to AISUS’ growth & innovation?
I start off with a daily operational update to discuss active jobs and the upcoming pipeline to ensure the whole team is up to speed with what is happening in the business to allow us to work collaboratively. We then have a management meeting before starting the day job. Despite being Finance Manager, I wear many different hats in the day and am heavily involved with HR, legal and operations. I really enjoy this level of variety and it means that no two days are the same and I’m always learning.
What’s been the most rewarding/favourite project you’ve worked on so far?
Taking control of the finance function of AISUS at a critical period during the company’s growth and overseeing the revenue more than doubling during that period. While this was challenging, it was also extremely rewarding. I really enjoy working with the rest of the management team to implement the strategy of the business and finance is a really key part of this.
If you could swap roles with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
If I hadn’t pursued a career in finance, I would have liked to do engineering. Our engineering team is top-class and the innovative products and solutions they come up with to solve client problems are fascinating and very impressive
