Mental Health Awareness Day

October 2025

To mark Mental Health Awareness Day, the AISUS team enjoyed a half day on Friday to do something that supports their mental wellbeing.

Our team understood the assignment and took part in an array of different activities, from the gym to pumpkin carving – each doing something unique that’s important to them.

At AISUS we are proud to support our team in prioritising their mental wellbeing, not just this week, but all year round. Creating space for rest and reflection is key to a healthier, happier workplace and we’re committed to assisting our team in doing this.

Greig: I went to the gym and had a good workout there. I don’t have a gym membership, so I usually try to work out at home, but it was nice to have all the equipment I needed available and be in the right kind of environment. I find that this improves my physical health and also helps my mental health by allowing me to focus on the exercises I’m doing instead of thinking about any worries that life has to offer – it’s a bit like a form of meditation.

Afterwards, I went to our favourite cafe in Ellon with my family and enjoyed a coffee and a fine piece. I did this because I like cake haha!

Phoebe: met up with my friend for a starbucks and we had a lovely stroll along the river whilst we chatted.

Hannah: High-intensity gym session, peaceful painting for a friend, and finished the day getting my nails done.

Michael: For my mental health afternoon, I took the kids and dogs out for a walk.

Nik: I went to the plant shop, and then got a Cardamom Knot and matcha for lunch. Followed by getting fitted for running shoes

Duncan: I went to the gym and afterwards did pumpkin carving

Scott: gym Session, training the body and mind!

Arminas: went for a relaxing drive to banchory and visited a friend

Stuart: For my mental health day I spent an hour this morning doing a class workout at my gym
