The AISUS Inspection Process

Mobilisation | Deployment | HP jetting | Advanced NDT | Data Analysis

Utilising our advanced inspection technology, we can gather data from any asset, with abilities to reach the small, confined hidden spaces that may cause the biggest problems. Combining this with our advanced data management platform we can predict degradation trends and get ahead of the problems – saving operators time, costs and preventing disasters before they happen.

The AISUS solution has been built around our client’s needs, offering a full inspection process which encompasses every aspect of asset integrity.

The AISUS inspection process is a structured, end-to-end approach designed to deliver accurate asset integrity insights through a combination of planning, execution, and advanced analysis. By integrating multiple specialist services into one streamlined approach, AISUS ensures that clients receive reliable data, actionable findings, and minimal operational disruption. Below is an overview of each key stage in the process.

Stage 1

Mobilisation

Mobilisation is the critical first step where planning meets preparation. During this phase, teams coordinate logistics, define project scope, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and prepare all necessary equipment and personnel. Effective mobilisation ensures that the inspection campaign begins smoothly, reducing delays and setting a strong foundation for a successful project.

Applications:

  • Topside
  • Substructure
  • Subsea and Splash Zone
  • Caissons
  • J-Tubes
  • Risers
  • Conductors
  • Topside Pipework
  • Jacket Legs
  • Monopiles
  • Floating Wind Structures
  • Cables
  • Civil Infrastructure

Stage 2

Deployment

Deployment involves the safe and efficient delivery of personnel and equipment to the worksite. This stage focuses on site setup, system checks, and ensuring all tools are fully operational before work begins.  Our small 3 man team ensures that inspection activities can commence promptly and safely, even in challenging or remote environments, saving operators huge costs, increasing safety through remote inspection and minimising downtime.

HP Jetting

High-pressure (HP) jetting is used to prepare surfaces by removing debris, fouling, and contaminants. This cleaning process is essential for enabling accurate inspection results, as it exposes the true condition of the asset. By ensuring a clean and accessible surface, HP jetting enhances the effectiveness of subsequent inspection techniques and improves overall data quality.

Stage 4

Advanced NDT

Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is at the core of the AISUS inspection process. Using cutting-edge technologies, this stage identifies defects, corrosion, and structural anomalies without causing damage to the asset. Techniques are selected based on the specific requirements of the project, ensuring precise detection and reliable results that support informed decision-making.

Stage 5

Data Analysis

Once inspection data is collected, the raw inspection data is transformed into decision-grade knowledge that operators can act on and build upon. The approach does not replace engineering expertise; it amplifies it. Utilising artificial intelligence and machine learning, AISUS delivers deep asset insights, highlights defects with precision and supports proactive maintenance strategies. The result is improved operational efficiency, reduced risk, extended asset life and a smarter approach to asset integrity management.
