The client required AISUS to develop a custom solution to safely access the confined entry points of the cyclone.
AISUS modified our centraliser tool, integrating it with robotics and our stereoscopic camera to collect data from the full length of the cyclone.

- The cyclone had restricted access points, one with side access and one with vertical access. The refractory lining also had varying diameters along its length requiring AISUS specialised equipment to ensure accurate data collection.

Through the integration of robotics AISUS were able to deploy the centraliser through the confined entry points.
The centraliser ensured secure fitting even in areas where the diameter of the cyclone varied enabling data collection over the full length.
The stereoscopic camera collected depth measurements of the refractory lining enabling the generation of 3D photogrammetry models.
