At AISUS, collaboration is one of our core values and our recent partnership with Kaefer is a great example of how working together strengthens our specialist approach to inspection.
Ahead of an upcoming joint project for a valued client, we hosted a live demonstration at our Bridge of Don yard. The trial replicated site conditions, including jetty piles with a 2.5m diameter – the largest we’ve accommodated to date.
To meet the challenge, our in-house design and engineer teams modified the AISUS pipework centraliser inspection system and integrated several advanced features:
- Ultra-High-Pressure Water Jetting – ensuring optimal surface preparation before inspection.
- 360-Degree Camera – providing detailed visualisation inside the structure, which can be manipulated or immersive with a VR Oculus Headset.
- Ultrasonic Testing – delivering advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection capabilities for wall thickness.
This tailored solution showcases the adaptability of AISUS technology and the strength of combining expertise across organisations. By leveraging our collective skills, we can deliver safer, more efficient, and highly effective inspection outcomes.
