AISUS was delighted to take part in this year’s ADIPEC Youth Talks programme, delivering a session for students from the British International School Abu Dhabi (BISAD) on the practical application of artificial intelligence within the energy sector.
The engagement marked a special milestone for AISUS. In 22025, AISUS visited BISAD to discuss career pathways within engineering, technology and the wider energy industry. One year later, AISUS returned to continue that conversation, this time demonstrating how emerging technologies are already being used to solve real industry challenges.

Leading the session was AISUS Data Scientist, Urmila Gurung, who introduced students to Project cAIsson, an innovative initiative exploring the use of artificial intelligence to support asset integrity management. Through real-world examples, students gained insight into how AI can be used to analyse complex data, support decision-making and help operators manage critical offshore assets more effectively.
As demand grows for digital skills across the global energy sector, initiatives such as ADIPEC Youth Talks play an important role in connecting students with the technologies and career pathways shaping the industry’s future.
AISUS is proud to support the next generation of engineers, scientists and technology professionals, and would like to thank BISAD and ADIPEC Young for the opportunity to engage with such an enthusiastic group of students.
About Project cAIsson
Project cAIsson is an AISUS-led research initiative focused on exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance asset integrity management. By combining engineering expertise with advanced data analytics and machine learning, the project aims to support smarter, more efficient integrity decision-making across the energy sector.
