This month, AISUS invited clients to view the live trials of AISUS’ latest innovative technological development for splash zone inspection.
Auriga, a crawler driven inspection tool for offshore structures, performed high-pressure cleaning whilst vertically attached to a section of caisson. This was followed by performing UT wall thickness measurements across sections of the structure so that the results could be immediately shown to the audience.
The visitors showed considerable interest in the technology, highlighting requirements for its capability and further discussions are now taking place.
