Design Engineer
What does a typical day in your role at AISUS look like, and how does your work contribute to AISUS’ growth & innovation?
My role typically requires design and development of offshore equipment, specialising in CAD software with a strong background in 2D and 3D platforms. This requires engineering design, production of detailed manufacturing drawings, procurement of parts and components required in the assembly of AISUS tooling.
What’s been the most rewarding/favourite project you’ve worked on so far?
I wouldn’t say I have a favourite, almost every project or work scope requires new or modified components or even a full redesign that help to improve the capabilities of Aisus, also in a lot of cases these benefit the offshore team with usability or functionality of the equipment.
If you could swap roles with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
Workshop tools & maintenance. Spend a day away from the screens and in the ‘coveralls’… cleaning/ preparing tools for future scopes.
