What does a typical day in your role at AISUS look like, and how does your work contribute to AISUS’ growth & innovation?

 

A typical day in my role is all about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. One of my main tasks is keeping our job scheduler up to date, making sure every upcoming job is logged and has the right people and resources lined up.

I also support the Operations Manager and Offshore Team Lead with mobilising personnel—so I’m often checking availability, confirming details with our team and contractors, and making sure everyone knows where they’re going and when.

Keeping the job scheduler and making sure the right people and equipment are in the right place at the right time, helps prevent delays, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency which in turn supports the company’s growth and ability to innovate.

 

 

What’s been the most rewarding/favourite project you’ve worked on so far?

 

One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had was during a particularly busy period when multiple jobs were happening back-to-back. I had to stay on top of the job scheduler, ensure personnel were mobilised smoothly, and help coordinate equipment and logistics. It was a great test of my organisational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

 

 

If you could swap roles with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?

 

I’d pick one of our Offshore Leads, to see what actually happens after we’ve done all the planning and coordination onshore. I think it would give me a whole new appreciation for the challenges they face and maybe I’d finally understand why some of our perfectly planned schedules need slight adjustments out there!
