AISUS is thrilled to announce that one of our employees, Craig, has been a named finalist for the Outstanding Achiever of the Year Award. This recognition comes as part of the fifth annual Scottish edition of the Ex-Forces in Business Awards, the world’s largest celebration honoring veterans in their second careers.
This prestigious award is a special ceremony to acknowledge and highlight the diverse talents of Armed Forces veterans, showcasing the significant contributions they make to employers and the Scottish economy post-service. Despite a recent study revealing that a third of UK hirers express reluctance in hiring veterans, this award aims to challenge the negative stereotypes often portrayed by the mainstream media.
By increasing awareness towards the underrated pool of skilled individuals who have served their country, this event aims to shine a spotlight on the global and economic opportunities these veterans bring. Craig, expressing his excitement and gratitude for the nomination, looks forward to the award ceremony on March 14th at the Grand Ballroom of Glasgow’s DoubleTree by Hilton.
