Investing in the future

News.

Investing in the future by developing local youth is something that AISUS has supported since its inception, and today is no different.

Dylan Aitken joins as a Technician in the most recent apprenticeship scheme to be run, and he has already been getting his hands dirty in the workshop. With an SVQ in Performing Engineering Operations and over three years’ previous experience within a lifting equipment firm, Dylan brings knowledge and experience that will benefit him greatly on his journey at AISUS.

Bradley Ward also joins as Technician in the apprenticeship scheme. Bradley brings technical experience from his time spent at McLachlan Marine where he worked as a deckhand on 12 hour day/night shifts. Bradley carried out boat maintenance on safety and crew transfer boats, learning about sea safety, emergency support and equipment along the way.

Ana Fernandes Wilson has joined the Engineering team and is already making a real impact by contributing to AISUS’ data management programme. Ana is currently completing her final year of study in Mechanical Engineering at Heriot Watt University and has joined as Student Intern. During her placement, Ana will work on various projects including 3D modelling and has so far been refining her skills in Autodesk Inventor.
AISUS is proud to be able to offer apprenticeship and graduate opportunities which further develops the skills of the Team, but also assists with the business plans moving forward.
