What does a typical day in your role at AISUS look like, and how does your work contribute to AISUS’ growth & innovation?
No two days are the same. I carry out offshore and onshore inspections, prepare reports, and work closely with clients to ensure assets are safe and fit for service. Delivering accurate, reliable inspection data helps build trust with our clients.
What’s been the most rewarding/favourite project you’ve worked on so far?
My favourite project has been a caisson inspection in Qatar. It was a great opportunity to experience a different part of the world, work with new people, and receive some great feedback. The weather wasn’t bad either!
If you could swap roles with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
I’d swap roles with Lewis in Research & Design for a day. It would be interesting to see how new inspection tools and technologies are developed, from the initial ideas through to testing and implementation. Seeing that side of the business would be a great experience and give me a better understanding of the innovation behind what we use in the field.
